As an Integrator, your challenge is to integrate in laser light positioning EDEV group the CARM HSI for the EXE5200. Next to that you will also integrate various electronics concepts and products in the field of actuator and motion control, camera image communication, embedded computers, analog devices, power amplifiers, encoders, electrical- and optical communication lines. With your skillset and a structured way of integration, you contribute to new machine developments with the aim of zero defects and no surprises when enabled at the ASML EUV products. You will work in close cooperation with other integrators, architects, but also gain a broad network within the company.

Role and responsibilities

The Hardware Software Interface Integrator is responsible for the following:
  • Operate as the Electronic Development representative in a multidisciplinary team;
  • Execute experiments on test set-ups, machine modules and prototype machines to ensure that the documented results meet the requirements set by the architect;
  • Influence the definition and design of electronic developments on diagnostics, testability, manufacturability and reliability;
  • Make work breakdown and effort estimation for the integration-process of the various electronic products;
  • Specify and document the test requirements and results;
  • Design and document the qualification tools for integration purpose;
  • Develop test software and hardware to automate tests where possible;
  • Work together with the EMC competence to tests on subsystem level;
  • Transfer knowledge to production and service engineers and act as an expert (4th line support);
  • Act as a technical coach for other integrators and team members.

Education and experience

Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Multiple years of experience as integrator, test engineer or project engineer for electronic/electrical functions;
  • Broad technical knowledge of electronics with interest in physics, optics, mechanics, and software;
  • Experience in CARM and Hardware Software Interface (HSI) is a must
  • Experience in firmware and programming languages like Python, C++, or being able to quickly catch up;
  • Experience with working in multidisciplinary design teams to deliver a high quality electronic module;
  • Experience with actuator control loops and related electronics is highly desired.
  • Comfortable in using test- and measurement equipment;
  • Familiar with SAFe - Agile wow is a plus.

Within the sector D&E the department Electronic Development (EDEV) is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of electronic functions and modules. Within this department the integrator reports to the group leader EUV Laser Light Positioning or delegated team leader.
  • This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work.
